| ENGLISH VERSION Sharp voice, screaming guitars, hammering rhythms, a stunning mixture of power and melody: the result is a high incendiary gradation sound, coming from the heart of five musicians! All this is White Skull !!! In 1991, after the recording of their first demo-tape, the band was noticed by the audience and the specialized Italian metal press. They started a live-promotion in order to increase their own experience. In May 1994, the band released their second demo entitled "Save the Planet", which received excellent reviews. White Skull also contributed to two Heavy Metal compilation: "Nightpieces 4" (January '95) and "Area Sismica" (June '95). Finally, a few months later, the Italian indie Underground Symphony gave them the chance to record their debut cd entitled: "I Won't Burn Alone". The album received a lot of positive responses from the press and local audiences and White Skull started to play in pubs, local festivals and biker meetings. The excellent results achieved, pushed the band to write down immediately new songs. Those caught again the interest of Underground Symphony which released in March 1997 the new album titled "Embittered". The "Embittered Tour" started soon after the distribution of the album and kept the band busy until 1998. The guys played also with the likes of Overkill, at the Italian "GODS OF METAL" festival and in Berlin with UDO and DORO. In the meantime the band kept reharsing and writing new songs which ultimately brought to the release of the EP "Asgard" and the cd "Tales from the North", a concept album about the myths of the North (Vikings and Nibelungs) with CHRIS BOLTENDAHL, singer of GRAVE DIGGER, as special guest. The album was released in 1999 by Nuclear Blast worldwide. White Skull then played in support of Grave Digger in the "Excalibur Millenium 2000 Tour" in Germany and Switzerland and in March 2000 in Italy. The following album "Public Glory, Secret Agony" was released in august 2000 on Breaker Records (Udo Dirkschneider's record company), with worldwide distribution by Nuclear Blast. The first line up change happened in February 2001 when original singer Federica "Sister" De Boni left the band due to personal problems. She was replaced with the male voice of Gustavo Gabarro' "Gus": a metal singer from Argentina. Finally the band came back into the studio at the end of 2001 in order to produce another concept album entitled "The Dark Age" based on the middle ages and on the crimes of the Inquisition, the album was released by Frontiers Records in August 2002. After the good critical and public acclaims who followed the release of "The Dark Age" the band played a lot of shows and festivals in Europe (Blind Guardian Open Air, Metal Dayz, Badia Rock Festival, Tradate Iron Festival, Valpolicella Metal Festival and so on...). Two line-up changes brought fresh new air in the Band, Axeman Danilo Bar and bassist Steve Balocco joined White Skull in different times during 2003 and 2004. Notwithstanding the band line-up change, White Skull released in May 2004 the sixth full length titled "The XIII Skull" - Frontiers Records. After album release the Band had cancelled a lot of shows due to health problem of a Band member. During this stop the band wrote a lot of new songs and they came back into the studio at the end of 2005 in order to record a concept album entitled "The Ring of the Ancients" based on the Celtic's stories. Recorded at Remaster Studio Vicenza, this Cd arose the interest of DragonHeart Records which signed the Band to a multi-album deal. 20th October 2006 Dragonheart/Spv published "The Ring of the Ancients". The brand new album is Heavier and Punchier than ever, White Skull music goes straight to the heart and soul of the MetalBangers!Also it received positive consense by the magazine and fans. After the album release, the singer Gus Gabarro' left the Band due to personal reason. The Band decided to back with Female Singer real peculiarity of the Band. White Skull is proud to present the new Singer Elisa "Over" De Palma who is glad and proud to sing with the Band. A lot of show now will play to support the new album. See 'ya on the Road! Tutto questo e' White Skull !!! Nel 1991, dopo la registrazione del loro primo demo-tape, si cominciò a parlare della band da parte del pubblico e della stampa specializzata. Iniziarono subito una promozione live in larga scala per far crescere la Band sotto tutti I punti di vista. Nel maggio 1994, la Band pubblica il secondo second demo dal titolo "Save the Planet", il quale ricevette ottime recensioni. Nell'immediato periodo i White Skull prendono parte a due Metal compilation: "Nightpieces 4" (Gennaio '95) e "Area Sismica" (Giugno '95). Qualche mese dopo l'etichetatta Italiana Underground Symphony pubblica il primo album della Band "I Won't Burn Alone". La Stampa e il pubblico non tardano ad apprezzare l'album e la Band inizia immediatamente una serie di concerti presso Pubs, festival locali e raduni bikers. Gli eccellenti risultati raccolti, spingono la Band a scrivere immediatamente dei nuovi brani. Il continuo interesse da parte dell'Underground Symphony si concretizza con la pubblicazione, nel marzo del 1997, del secondo album intitolato "Embittered". L' "Embittered Tour" parte immediatamente dopo la distribuzione dell'album e vede la Band impegnata fino a tutto il 1998, tra le cose piu' importanti suonano come supporto agli Overkill, partecipano all'italian "GODS OF METAL" festival, ed a Berlino con UDO e DORO. Subito immediatamente iniziano a provare e scrivere nuovi brani, I quail una volta ultimati verranno pubblicati nell'EP "Asgard" e nel cd "Tales from the North", un concept album sulla mitologia del Nord (Vichinghi e Nibelunghi). CHRIS BOLTENDAHL, cantante dei GRAVE DIGGER, appare come ospite speciale. Nuclear Blast Pubblica l'album nel Luglio 1999, i White Skull suonano come supporto dei Grave Digger nell'"Excalibur Millenium 2000 Tour" in Germania e Svizzera, a marzo in Italia. L'album seguentev"Public Glory, Secret Agony" viene messo sul mercato ad Agosto 2000 da Breaker Records (etichetta di Udo Dirkschneider's), con distribuzione mondiale Nuclear Blast. Nel Febbraio 2001 Federica "Sister" De Boni, cantante, lascia la Band per motivi personali. Viene sostituita dal cantante argentino "Gus" Gustavo Gabarro'. Alla fine del 2001 il quintetto rientra in studio per dar vita ad un nuovo concept album intitolato "The Dark Age" ambientato nel periodo dell'inquisizione. L'album suscita l'interesse della Frontiers records che lo pubblica nell'Agosto del 2002. A seguito delle ottime recensione e dell'interesse crescende del pubblico, la Band suona molti live shows e partecipa a grandi festivals Italiani ed Europei (Blind Guardian Open Air, Metal Dayz, Badia Rock Festival, Tradate Iron Festival, Valpolicella Metal Festival). Nell'immediato periodo successivo la band subisce un altro cambiamento di Line-up, il chitarrista Danilo Bar ed il bassista Steve Balocco entrano a far parte del combo tra il 2003 ed il 2004. Nonostante tutto a maggio 2004 viene pubblicato il sesto album della Band "The XIII Skull". Dopo l'uscita dell'album la Band e' costretta a sospendere l'attivita' live e cancellare molti live shows per motivi di salute. In questo periodo di stop forzato per l'attivita' live, la band scrive un nuovo album ed entra in studio (Remaster Studio Vicenza) verso la fine del 2005 per le registrazioni di un nuovo concept intitolato "The Ring of the Ancients", concept basato sulle storie degli antichi Celti. Questo nuovo lavoro suscita l'interesse della DragonHeart Records, la quale offre un contratto alla Band. Il 20 ottobre 2006 la Dragonheart/Audioglobe/SPV pubblica "The Ring Of The Ancients”. Il nuovo album in perfetto stile con la musica proposta dalla Band e' molto piu' Heavy di quanto mai fatto, la musica dei White Skull entrera' dritta nei cuori e nelle anime dei MetalBangers! subito lo stesso riscuote un ottimo consenso da parte di stampa specializzata e pubblico. In concomitanza all'uscita del disco il Vocalist Gus Gabarro' lascia la Band per problemi lavorativi e personali. La Band decide quindi di ritornare alla voce Femminile, vera caratteristica della Band. La nuova Vocalist è Elisa "Over" De Palma che si sente molto onorata di ricoprire un ruolo così importante. La Band suonera' molti live shows in supporto al nuovo album. See 'ya on the Road! CENNI SULL' ATTIVITA' LIVE DELLA BAND Durante la carriera la Band e' stata interprete di qualche centinaia di concerti (sono circa 550 fino alla data odierna) suonati in Festival, Club e Pub.
